Ways of knowing

There are many ways of knowing who we are and discovering our unique place in the world. At Ways of Knowing, we offer a variety of experiential pathways for discovery, exploration, and growth through nature.

Stepping into nature allows us to leave behind what is familiar and known, and to discover that life can be much larger than we imagined. We are accustomed to defining ourselves by our profession, status, or the roles we fulfil. Yet the question “Who am I?” is often connected to something far broader—to what brings joy to our hearts, to our unique qualities, and to what comes naturally to us and allows us to thrive.

We are also part of an intricate web of relationships, connected to everything around us and to all living beings. In wild natural spaces, we have the opportunity to step beyond our personal story for a moment and remember our relationship with the wider world.

Through journeys in nature, individual sessions, and workshops, people are invited to experience their potential for growth and discover a deep and unconditional sense of belonging to the greater world.

To embark on a journey is to move beyond what is familiar and safe—and to dare to live, with vision and passion, the one life we have.
